Leadership Opportunities
The NCS-ACOFP strongly encourages both Osteopathic residents and students to become involved in their state society. Young DO’s are the future of Osteopathic medicine in North Carolina, and as our society grows, we will need much help to move forward.
At each annual meeting there will be (1) Resident , and (1) Student elected to the NCS-ACOFP Board.
The main goals of these positions are:
1. To assist the Board in shaping the future of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina
2. Leading the Resident and Student discussion forums at each annual meeting.
3. Direct mentorship from current Board Leaders
Scholarships for Annual Meeting
A small number of scholarships are available for residents and students wishing to attend the annual meeting. To apply please submit a “letter of need” requesting a scholarship and a resume, with your meeting registration. We will notify you if you have received the scholarship and the amount that can be provided.
